SFM Foundation is a non-profit organization created to administer a post-secondary education scholarship program to benefit children of workers disabled or fatally injured in work-related accidents.

SFM Foundation was created in 2008 by SFM Companies, a regional workers' compensation insurance group headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota.

MISSION STATEMENT

SFM Foundation is dedicated to easing the burdens on families affected by workplace accidents. To achieve this, the Foundation provides post-secondary education scholarships to children of parents fatally or seriously injured on the job.

ABOUT THE SFM FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Scholarships are available to qualifying students whose parents have been disabled or fatally injured in the course of working for Minnesota or Wisconsin employers.

Each scholarship recipient is eligible for up to $5,000 per year and can receive scholarships annually through graduation from a two- to four-year college, university or vocational school.
